Saab is by far Sweden's most famous automobile producing company. They have been known to produce excellent, classy vehicles for many decades. Saab is most famous for its 9-3 and 9-5 models, which have gained global recognition for their safety and overall features among other small executive cars. The Saab 9-3 and 9-5 make great cars for classy businessman at great prices. Although people may be tempted to look at the newest Saab models, it may be a good idea to look at a used Saab to save money, yet still get an awesome car that will last for many years to come.

The Saab 9-3 was launched in 1998 in an effort to revamp the Saab 900 model line. The new model effectively made over a thousand changes to the old 900 series to make the 9-3 significantly improved compared to its former model. Most of the changes were to improve safety ratings, which was successful in getting it rated the Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. A used Saab 9-3 is certainly a safe and very affordable pick for anyone with many options of different body styles such as hatchbacks, sedans, and convertibles.

The Saab 9-5 is Saab's other most popular model according to sales. The 9-5 is known for its station wagon body style; however, it is also available in a typical sedan style additionally. The 9-5 has been used by police forces in both Sweden and the United Kingdom in specific sectors of the country. Compared to the 9-3 the 9-5 is larger so it is suitable especially for families as opposed to the 9-3. For those looking for more power in their Saab the 9-5 Aero offers a much more upgraded drive train. Because the 9-5 is more upgraded it is more expensive than the 9-3, but is well worth the price. A used Saab 9-5 would be a great idea because you will save money and still reap the benefits of a large, powerful car.

The Saab 9-3 and 9-5 are great cars with benefits in each model for nearly everyone. Because of their great reputation for upper class cars that are stacked with safety features, it may be smart to consider a used Saab if the price tag of a new Saab seems to be on the high end of the spectrum for what you are able to afford.
